✝️ Yeshua (Jesus) cries out from the cross… ✝️

📖 Matthew 27:46

"My God, My God, for this I was spared (or kept)?"
—not "forsaken" as in the Greek translation.

This Aramaic-Hebrew understanding reveals a deeper truth:
Yeshua wasn’t crying out in despair...
He was declaring purpose — that He was preserved for this very moment.

🕊️ Let us return to the original meaning and hear His cry with new ears.

🔥 The Source of Evil in the Hebrew Bible 🔥

Evil is not a cosmic battle between God and Satan.
The Hebrew Bible teaches something very different:

📜 What the Scriptures Actually Say:

▪️ Evil is the result of human choices
➡️ Genesis 6:5, Deuteronomy 30:15

▪️ YHWH allows or uses evil for His purposes
➡️ Isaiah 45:7, Lamentations 3:38

▪️ There is no “Satan” figure opposing God
The Hebrew text never describes Satan as a rebel or enemy of God.

❌ The idea of a fallen angel ruling over evil is not from the Hebrew Bible.
It was introduced later through Greek and Persian influence.

🔍 Final Conclusion:

✅ Evil comes from man’s heart, not from a supernatural devil.
✅ YHWH is in full control of both good and evil.
✅ There is no cosmic war between God and Satan in Hebrew thought.
✅ "Satan" is simply a role ("the adversary") in God’s divine council.
❗ Greek philosophy distorted the original Hebrew understanding of evil.

🌍 Did God Command Gentiles to Follow the Torah? 🤔

The Torah—including the Ten Commandments—was given specifically to Israel, not to the Gentile nations.

But let’s go back even further—to the time of Noah, right after the Flood...
📖 Genesis 9:1–7 — God gave only three clear instructions to all mankind through Noah:
1️⃣ Be fruitful and multiply
➡️ Genesis 9:1, 7
2️⃣ Do not eat blood
➡️ Genesis 9:4
3️⃣ Do not murder
➡️ Genesis 9:5–6

✅ These were the only universal laws given to all nations at that time.
📜 The Torah, including the Ten Commandments, came later and was given to Israel alone (Exodus 20).

But don’t stop there…
👉 God still wants more—from Israel and from all people.

🔟 Yes, the Ten Commandments matter
God gave Israel ten clear laws on Mount Sinai (Exodus 20):

No other gods

No idols

Don’t misuse God’s Name

Keep the Sabbath

Honor your parents

Do not murder

Do not commit adultery

Do not steal

Do not lie

Do not covet

But even these 10 are just the starting line, not the finish.

🔥 Yeshua (Jesus) shows us: God wants everything
Let’s hear it from Yeshua’s own words, rooted in Hebrew truth—not Greek philosophy, not later church traditions:

📜 Matthew 5:48

“Be perfect, therefore, as your Father in heaven is perfect.”
Hebrew “tamim” (תָּמִים) means whole, blameless, undivided.
Just like God told Abraham:
“Walk before Me and be tamim.” – Genesis 17:1

📜 Matthew 6:24

“No one can serve two masters… You cannot serve God and mammon.”
No divided loyalty. God wants your whole heart—not 50/50.

📜 Matthew 7:13–14

“Enter through the narrow gate… the way is hard that leads to life, and few find it.”
This path is narrow—not because God is harsh, but because it costs your life.
God wants you all in.

📜 Matthew 10:37–39

“Anyone who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me…”
“Whoever does not take up his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me.”
No part-time followers.
Yeshua is echoing what God always wanted:
💔 Full devotion—even above family or your own life.

📜 Matthew 13:44–46 – Parables of the Treasure and Pearl

A man sells everything to gain the Kingdom.
That’s the price: everything.

📜 John 3:21

“Whoever lives by the truth comes into the light…”
No more secrets. No hiding. God wants open lives, clean hearts, real obedience.

📜 John 14:15

“If you love Me, keep My commandments.”
Love isn’t just words. It’s living it out—doing what Yeshua taught.

📜 John 17:19

“For their sakes I sanctify Myself…”
Yeshua gave everything—and calls us to do the same.

✅ Final Hebrew Truth:
God gave 3 commands to all nations through Noah.
God gave 10 commandments to Israel on Mount Sinai.
Yeshua came and showed that God wants even more—
Not more rules... but more of you.

👉 Your heart.
👉 Your loyalty.
👉 Your life.

“Walk before Me and be tamim.” – Genesis 17:1
“Be perfect as your Father is perfect.” – Matthew 5:48

That’s the true calling—from the garden, to Noah, to Abraham, to Yeshua.
