🔎 Discover the Bible Through Ancient Eyes
At BibleFacts.online, we return to the roots—using the original languages of Hebrew and Aramaic, just as Yeshua (Jesus) spoke.
This is the foundation. If the New Testament doesn’t line up with these 3, in my eyes—it’s false.
📜1. Paleo-Hebrew (Pre-Exilic Script)
Date: ~1400 BC to ~586 BC
Language: Ancient Hebrew (Paleo script)
Key Features:
✅ Written without vowels or Greek influence
✅ Used by Moses, Joshua, and the early prophets
✅ Yhwh’s Name (𐤉𐤄𐤅𐤄) appears openly
✅ Aligned with the original covenant and Torah
Preserved In: Early scrolls before the Babylonian exile (e.g., parts of Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges)
Content: Affirms YHWH as one.
Deuteronomy 6:4 in Paleo-Hebrew:
יהוה אלהינו יהוה אחד
YHWH Eloheinu, YHWH echad — “YHWH our God, YHWH is one.”
No hint of plurality. No trinity. One God.
2. Aramaic (Post-Exilic Influence)
Date: ~600 BC to ~500 BC
Language: Aramaic (used during and after the Babylonian exile)
Key Features:
✅ Used by Daniel, Ezra, and others in exile
✅ Still upheld Yhwh’s covenant and Name
✅ No vowel points or Greek edits
✅ Mixed Hebrew-Aramaic structure in books like Daniel and Ezra
Preserved In: Post-exile scrolls found in Babylon, parts of Qumran scrolls
Content: Still purely monotheistic.
Isaiah 45:5:
“I am YHWH, and there is no other.”
No second deity. No third. Just YHWH.
📜3. Early Square Script – No Vowels (Ketav Ashuri)
Developed during/after the exile (5th–3rd century BCE)
This script became the standard Hebrew writing used in Temple scrolls and later Masoretic copies (before vowel markings were added).
✅ No vowel points or added symbols
✅ No Greek influence
✅ Yhwh’s Name remains untouched — written as: יהוה
Used in: Scrolls copied by scribes between 400–200 BC, and preserved in early forms of the Torah
🔹 Example: Exodus 20:2–3
Original Script:
אנכי יהוה אלהיך לא יהיה־לך אלהים אחרים על־פני
Plain English Translation:
“I am Yhwh your God… you shall have no other gods before Me.”
📌 Still One God — no partners, no trinity, no “Lord” title added
📌 Still Torah-centered — no replacement theology or Greek philosophy
📜 Bottom line: These are the three roots. If a New Testament writing doesn’t line up with these—it’s not from God.
Filter out later Greek philosophical influences and focus on how the Scriptures were first understood by the people who lived them.
