📜 **Gentiles Following YHWH in the Hebrew Bible — Not a New Idea**

Some say Gentiles only followed YHWH *after* Jesus came—or worse, that it started with Paul.

❌ That’s false.

✅ The Hebrew Bible **(Paleo-Hebrew, Aramaic, and Early Square Script)** shows Gentiles *always* had a path:

---

**🔹 Rahab (Joshua 2 & 6)**
A Canaanite prostitute from Jericho.
She *protected Israelite spies* and said:

> “YHWH your Elohim—He is Elohim in the heavens above and on the earth beneath.”
> *(Joshua 2:11)*

YHWH spared her. She joined Israel.

---

**🔹 Ruth (Book of Ruth)**
A Moabite woman—**not Israelite by blood**.
She told Naomi:

> “Your people will be my people, and your Elohim, my Elohim.”
> *(Ruth 1:16)*

She entered Israel’s covenant and became King David’s great-grandmother.

---

**🔹 The Mixed Multitude (Exodus 12:38, Numbers 9:14)**
Non-Israelites *left Egypt with Israel*. The Torah welcomed them:

> “One law shall be for the native and for the stranger…”
> *(Numbers 9:14)*

YHWH allowed Gentiles to join—**if they obeyed**.

---

**🔹 Nineveh (Jonah 3)**
Capital of Assyria. Full of Gentiles.
Jonah warned them:

> “Yet forty days, and Nineveh shall be overthrown.”
> *(Jonah 3:4)*

They repented. **YHWH spared them.**
No blood, no sacrifice—**just obedience**.

---

**🔹 Foreigners in Torah (Isaiah 56:6–7, Leviticus 17:8–9)**
YHWH made space in His covenant:

> “Even the foreigners… who keep My Sabbath… I will bring them to My holy mountain.”
> *(Isaiah 56:6–7)*

Strangers were held to the same standards:

> “Whatever man… or stranger… who offers sacrifice and does not bring it to the tabernacle… he shall be cut off.”
> *(Leviticus 17:8–9)*

---

📖 **The Pattern Was Already Clear**

✔️ Gentiles could join Israel.
✔️ Gentiles could honor YHWH from afar.
✔️ But **never** without obedience.

> “All families of the earth shall be blessed through Abraham.”
> *(Genesis 12:3)*

---

**🍞 Feeding the Multitudes (Yeshua’s Signs)**

**5,000 in Galilee (Jewish Region)**
Echoes Moses feeding Israel in the wilderness.

**4,000 in the Decapolis (Gentile Region)**
Shows **YHWH’s mercy to outsiders** who honored Him.

These weren’t random acts.
They matched the pattern found in the Hebrew Bible.

---

❌ **Paul Broke That Pattern**

Paul wrote:

> “A man is justified by faith *apart from* the deeds of the law.” *(Romans 3:28)*

But the Torah said:
**Obedience is the way to life.**
**Faith without obedience was never enough.**

---

✔️ **Yeshua Walked in Torah.**
He confirmed the pattern.
He didn’t erase it.

❌ **Paul Replaced It.**
He taught something new:
Faith *without* Torah.

---

**CONCLUSION**
YHWH *always* made room for Gentiles:
Either **join Israel** through obedience…
Or **honor Him from afar**.

Yeshua (Jesus) fulfilled that truth.
Paul rewrote it.
