Who Is Yhwh? The Eternal Name Restored

Meaning:

Yhwh means “He Is” — or more fully:

“The One Who Exists,” “The Eternal One,” or “He who causes to exist.”

It comes from the Hebrew root verb:

היה (h-y-h) = “to be,” “to exist,” “to become”

In Exodus 3:14, when spoken from Yhwh’s point of view, He says:

➡️ “Ehyeh Asher Ehyeh” — “I Am That I Am”

When we speak about Him, it becomes:

➡️ Yhwh — “He Is” or “He Will Be”
